Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. She is an actress known by her roles in Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors as well as filmmakers. Both are careers she has herself taken up. Aged nine the actress made her film debut in the role of Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. The role she played was the main one in the film of Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) and also appeared as a part of Michele Savi's 1989 feature film The Church. The actress played Nanni Moretti's daughter the following year in Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is the year that Asia really began to begin to take off. This helped her move from roles that were primarily young girls into more complex, mature characters. The film received an enthusiastic reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. In Trauma (1993) the actress made her debut with her father, famed Italian film director Dario Argento (her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an obese girl on the lookout for her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie together with her father, her first two movies being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's dedication and passion for acting has also been used in the film by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot the film, in which she played a prominent role. In 1995, she acted alongside Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again earned her a David di Donatello and the Grolla d'oro. Asia started directing as an occupation in the year 1994. Her debut short film was Prospettive. The film she made about her dad and then Abel/Asia (1998) the film that was awarded a prize in the Rome Film Festival, were each directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia began directing her first feature film in 1999. It was Scarlet Diva (2000). It was also her main actress, and the author for the screenplay. The film premiered on 20 May, 2000, in Italy and around the globe. The film was awarded a prize in the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001 after she directed several music videos. In 2002, she starred as Jean-Marc Bar's co-star The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) and Vin Diesel was the star of Rob Cohen's action thriller The Action. Asia has also written a few short stories that were published in a variety of magazines.
